SIGNED INTO LAW: House Bill 1889 authorizes the Wildlife Conservation Commission to join the states that are members of the Interstate Wildlife Violators Compact. The compact is an agreement that recognizes suspension of hunting and fishing licenses in member states. This cooperative interstate effort will enhance the Department of Wildlife Conservation’s ability to protect and manage our wildlife resources.
